Some of my thoughts on the notes: Finances: - A & B have done more than enough to warrant a gift. Keep up the good work guys :) Foundation: - Whatever we choose, we don't want to lose developers to become paperwork monkeys. OR...we solicit help from the community for someone who is familiar enough w/ the processes and the required paperwork to keep up with it for us. 1.x Issues: - Don't let the users beat you down, Jens. 1.x is a great product, and still has it's niche in the community. I've had periods of times at NukedGallery when I'm ready to tell the users to screw themselves and shut down the site. I step back, take a few deep breaths, and realize that for every one or two users who make trouble, there are THOUSANDS more who are deeply appreciative of all the work that is put into the product. Remember, we usually only hear from the people that have complaints. Happy customers rarely take the time to come back and thank you. Team Organization: - Letting Mr. XTREEEEM take the helm as project primary? He'll do fine :) - I'm volunteering myself for anything extra that needs doing in this space. Participation Levels: - I apologize that I've been out of pocket lately. Work has gotten crazy busy and let me little time for Gallery. This should ease up somewhat though. - I'm going to see what other (module) feature requests are somewhat popular and see if I can try to code them. Ecard was a good way for me to get my feet wet. Thanks again to Alan for his support and patience through it :) Project: - If the main beef is w/ SVN, why not create our own SVN repository on GMC or another server? that won't hurt our overall traffic. - GMC/Codex confusion - I still click the "Gallery" logo at the top of Codex, expecting to be taken to the codex main page, only to have to back up and click the main page link. That's my only beef. Deferred Topics: - Child porn?
