The backing up database link is a double redirect. --Kenyon 18:26, 15 October 2005 (PDT)
The cvs update which pulls HEAD includes a -d to create subdirectories, but the cvs update that follows BRANCH_2_0 doesn't. The -d needs to be added or upgrades from pre-2.0-release CVS (days before in my case) will fail. --[[User::mrballcb|Todd Lyons]] 10:18 17 October 2005 (PDT)
For Solaris users, you should use gpatch (GNU patch, /usr/bin/gpatch on S10) - not the regular patch command as that may fail.
I got the download for the upgrade to 2.0.2 but there was not a file in it named Gallery2.zip.
I tried to follow option 1, got lost and broke my installation. I then just did a full install of 2.0.2 over my existing installation and that worked fine.
Thanks for the security fix.
