One serious issue is that anonymous users cannot be given a direct URL to an original-view for an image. They must first visit the hidden album to "log in", and then they can visit direct picture URLs. -- Sy / (talk) 13:32, 28 April 2006 (PDT)
I documented an example to demonstrate the gotchas. Maybe it will help someone else avoid the embarassment of sending "log in" links with a trailing slash (which prompt for a username and password instead of showing the hidden album). The above were probably rewriting issues. They seem to have gone away. Since then, I've discovered that searching and probably copying, moving, linking etc all ignore an album's hidden status. -- Sy / (talk) 06:12, 29 November 2006 (PST)
