Well, I installed ffmpeg and activated it, uploaded a movie via ftp, added it to an album, go to look at it, and nothing. In firefox, it says I'm missing a plugin. What plugin does this use? When I open in windows explorer, it looks like windows media player is about to play it, but never actually does. There's an embedded windows media player box, but it wont play.
No offense, this is purely for the sake of figuring out some stuff, what is different in the way that Gallery handles movies and coppermine photo gallery handles movies? I had no problems getting coppermine to work and stream the videos out of the box, but now I'm trying out gallery, with little success with the videos so far.
