The thread linked in the Feature Chart regarding safe mode was started well over a year ago and a lot of the discussion is out-of-date. For example, G2 has a gd module, meaning that disabled exec() does not prevent it from thumbnailing (as the feature chart points out). Having read that, I am not clear why precicely G2 will not work under safe mode. Some clarification would be appreciated. We currently have PHP with exec() disabled and will be moving to safe mode in the near future. -- Jon 05:54, 16 September 2005 (PDT)
Can you add more explanation about the recursive changes to album properties? Does this mean that properties don't apply to sub-albums, or what? Is it just that all albums have to use one theme? More specifics, please.
